Just got the paper today and the circuity city circular has an offer for the Sony-S300 with purchase you get to choose 2 free bd's instantly. Also if you order online for pickup you get a $50 rebate so $450 for the S-300 and 7 free movies with the 5 free through mail.

There are lots of great advertisements for BD this week in the various ADs. Every single store is showcasing the PS3 and 5 free movies. Things are starting to look lot 'bluer' everywhere you turn.

Can you pick any 2 BD movies or do they limit the selection?

I bought my Sony S300 about 3 weeks ago @ CC. When Walmart started their "2 free Blu-rays with purchase" promo last week, I went to CC and tried to get them to match the offer. They refused, and the customer service manager argued with me for 10 minutes about how they only match price, not promos, etc. If it hadn't been for the fact that I personally knew the store director (who walked up to say "hi" while I was chatting with the first guy), they would've shot me down.

So... hearing this is like vindication. I'm just surprised that a manager didn't know this promo was coming. I mean, this just happened over the weekend.

Well I'm going to CC tomorrow with Walmart printout in-hand. If they want to sell the S300 and make a profit they will price match. My God, its only an $11 difference.

according the circular it says your choice of 2 bd's, now I don't know if they give you a list when you buy it or what? but I would pick up a circular at the door and show it to whom ever is at the register when you pay.

Good idea. Others have said they allow you to pick any BDs off the rack.
