Default Was Observe & Report any good?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Observe & Report is worth a blind purchase? Was it better than Paul Blart? Thanks in advance

I thought it was awesome! But I can understand why some didn't like it. It's kinda a weird movie. Give it a rent before you buy, cause it's not for everyone.

It was Seth Rogen's Cable Guy. It is very love or hate and I was in the love category.

Just I really dug this and I hated the cable guy.

I really enjoyed observe and report, it sort of a complex comedy, stupid but quite smart, rent it, tell us what you think? I'll warn you though once you watched that ending, there's no going back......

I made it about halfway through.. seriously, how many F bombs did they drop in this movie? There were at least two hundred in the first 40 minutes. At least. It just.. wasn't funny at all. Walked out.

That's thing about the F bomb. I curse just as much as the next guy, but I hate when they have to use it in EVERY sentence. That's one thing that turns me off to a lot of Kevin Smith's movies.

Yeah I would say rent it first. One of the main things about this movie that makes it interesting is that the main character isn't very likeable. Seth Rogen was awesome in a lot of his other movies, but in this movie his character is weird. You almost don't root for him some of the time, but other times you're like HELL YEAH!

A good description is: It's not an awesome, laugh out loud movie like The Hangover. It's got a kind of indy comedy feel to it, like Napoleon Dynamite lol. Anyways, let us know what you think when you see it

Wow, such a simple way to summarize it and it makes perfect sense. Definitely suggest watching it in some capacity, but some movies (ie. this one) are risky to recommend as blind buys. I really enjoyed it.

rent it ... if you like it, the rental will hold you over until it hits a lower price point.

i saw it at the dollar theater where I live. So i will pick it up probably used when it hits around the $10-$15 range.

It's great, but don't go in expecting Paul Blart or Knocked Up. It's more along the lines of Bad Santa or Taxi Driver and with an ending you won't soon forget. Definitely one of the biggest surprises of 2009.

That's a great way of describing it.

Rent it first.

Boy, that's a great way to nail it down. Props.

I loved it, but I can't possibly see blindly endorsing it for everyone, not by a long shot.

Funny People was pretty good and was a much better movie than Observe and Report. O&R was an even less funny version of Paul Blart... if that's even possible.
