Alliance Titles.... Questions about PQ and AQ - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone seen the constant gardener on blu-ray i want to know what the PQ is like and the whole disc on blu please and thank you. I couldn't find any reviews of this film on 5 different sites so now i'm asking you guys please review it on blu for me cause i'm thinking of buying it its only 1699$ at future shop in ontario canada. I love the film but i want to make sure its worth getting on blu-ray...i don't even have it on dvd!!

1699$? lol i thin you meant 16.99$ anyways, i got it but i m waitting for my multizone blu ray player to play it(should get it tomorrow or te day after so i ll be able to tell you..)

I haven't watched it all the way through, but I will say that it definitely looks better then the DVD. There are some soft spots as well as some crystal clear moments, but that was the way the movie was filmed and not a problem with the transfer. I saw it at the theater, and it is pretty much the same quality as it was on the big screen. The sound however is absolutely amazing.

Definitely pick it up since you're a fan of the movie...

kinowalt is a german studio, I dont believe its the same version??

Op was asking about the candian version and you provided a review and screenshots for the german one. Both transfers may not be the same

I watched this whole film on blu. The PQ is top notch. Typical Alliance release

$16.99 is a terrible price for this movie. Then again, "free" doesn't make it that much more appealing.

This is one of the few movies I have ever walked out on, and demanded my money back. It ranks up there as one of the most boring

, draga** films I've ever seen.

Just watched it last night. Pulled the trigger at $19.99 CDN at Starstruck Entertainment. Some scenes definitely have a little less contrast than what you'd expect, however, I think this may intentional by the filmmakers to enhance the african scenes - they just POP.

Sound is DTS-MA - just awesome.

By the way, no extras - not even subtitles.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Blu-ray.

bought it in a 4 for $20 deal at Blockbuster back when I was a SD-DVD fanatic. Just wasnt my cup of tea.

Usually the PQ and AQ are top notch but they lack in special features.
