Arrow The Collector (Horror)

This is a Public Poll. Please only vote if you've seen the movie!!

Click on the poster to head over and see the trailer.

Quote:
Marcus Dunstan, the writer of the "Feast" films and the last three "Saw" installments, is making his directorial debut with a horror flick titled "The Collector." And today, we have a restricted trailer for it. Check it out by clicking on the link below.

Plot: The story revolves around a handyman/ex-con Arkin (Josh Stewart), who aims to repay a debt to his ex-wife (Daniella Alonso) by robbing his new employer's country home. Unfortunately for Arkin, a far worse enemy has already laid claim to the property – and the family. As the seconds tick down to midnight, Arkin becomes a reluctant hero trapped by a masked "Collector" in a maze of lethal invention – the Spanish Inquisition as imagined by Rube Goldberg – while trying to rescue the very family he came to rob.

The film is written by Dunstan and his writing partner Patrick Melton. It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31st.

Supposedly The Collector was going to be released by The Weinstein Company/Dimension but Freestyle, THE STUDIO WHO DISTRIBUTED DRAGON WARS AND ALL OF UWE BOLL'S FILMS AFTER ALONE IN THE DARK, picked it up.

Dude!!!

I was JUST gonna say,

"Is this a remake of the old Terrance Stamp movie?"

That was an AWESOME movie

Highly recommended.

This is THE ONLY "Collector" in my book! Terence Stamp and Samantha Eggar at their finest! I can use a few more "Stamps" in my blu ray collection, especially this one ,The Limey and Billy Budd.

apparantly it's a good film, a really good take on the slasher genre.

I think these nay sayers should try it out, see what its like. they may be suprised.

I'll rent it if it gets good reviews, but I've given up on seeing horror/slasher movies at the theater. Too many disappointments.
