Ayngaran has done a great job. Ayngaran blu-rays can easily compete with high quality Hollywood blu-rays. Hope Bollywood will keep the high standards achieved by Ayngaran.

I have 2 Ayngaran Blus purchased at bollywood blu-ray.

1. Sivaji
2. Billa

Both looks terrific.

However, Sivaji looks to be slightly DNR-ed which is said to present in the DI by Shahran at zulm.net.

Billa seems to be incorrectly filtered from 1080p as I see aliasing / jaggies. Need to recheck 'coz this could be due to my telly.

Despite these glitches, both look and sound awesome.

Yes, Sivaji has slight DNR and EE, It is "slight", so I cannot complain about it. Possibly that slight DNR/EE is from the original DI, not from the blu-ray transfer process.

Sivaji looks terrific, Villu looks even better - it is absolutely stunning (although it is not a good movie as Sivaji).

Although other Bollywood blu-rays are mastered and authored by the same company (that did Ayngaran blu-rays), that will not ensure same quality unless that company use same specifications that they applied for Ayngaran mastering process.

Ayngaran must have developed a blu-ray mastering/authoring specifications and requirements document and given to the mastering and authoring houses - of course this requirements document contains Ayngaran proprietary information and it should have specs related to EE, DNR, audio and subtitles amongst many other parameters.

If other Bollywood studios use the same mastering/authoring house, they can use the same specs to maintain same standards. Unless this instruction is specifically given to the mastering and authoring houses, they may use different specs/requirements and potentially could ruin the blu-ray.

Not sure whether Ayngaran used one of those (to produced superb quality blu-rays) or they went for an overseas mastering/authoring house.

This clock projects the time, date, or temp on the wall or ceiling some people call
it a ceiling clock but I call it a digital projection clock. I got the black one because at the time that was the only color
they had. But now they have them in black and also in white.

Excellent. Glad to hear that the Indian studios have produced high standard blu-rays. Hope all other blu-ray transfers and authoring will be done by the same people to same high standards using same specs.

I am skeptical of this info. I believe that all Ayangaran movies were authored in London by Shahran Sunny Audit - See zulm.net

and for your information when w e make a statement its 100% we dont have time to conjure stories .

sunny is highly trained HD guy who works fora big corporatiion in uk

the discs were authored by prasad labs india
if u look at back sleeve it says it all

we are oversea distributors of anygaran hence we are working on all titles with them
