Video Camera Recommendations

I am looking to see if anyone has any experience and knowledge of video cameras and could recommend a good, strong video camera.

This is what is most important to me:

Auto focus
Stabilization/smooth video (not jerky)
Zoom ability
Easy to use for someone on the more novice side
Good internal audio and/or the ability to add a good external mic

I'd like picture taking ability, but the video listed above is most important.

Any help from those who might know would be greatly appreciated, or perhaps guidance as to where to go to get suggestions.
