Default how long does it take amazon to ship?

Just ordered a panny G10 from amazon, it says estimated ship times 5 days from now. It's not going to drag out like the regular super saver stuff right?
For some reason when I buy just the TV I have a option to select schedule delivery
but when I added the BD player then this option goes away.

and how is the delivery service?

Thanks

For standard service, it usually takes 3-5 business days. For expedited, probably next day.

Congrats on ur TV. I just got my G10 on the 9th delivered from Bestbuy. I paid a grand for mine for the 50" and I have been loving it so far. I am sort of worried about burn-in that I run the scrolling bar on it about every hour for about 4 minutes. I am just a lil nervous since it is my first HDTV. Plus I have it floating on the Whalen stand and it just looks beautiful. Now I am going to get a home theater system as a X-mas gift to myself and now I am shopping for that. I have it narrowed it down to 2 so far but I have plenty of time. Congrats on ur TV. I am having a blast wit mine and I am sure you will too.

I'm considering getting this TV for my father.

From what I've read, burn-in was a problem with older plasmas, but not modern ones like the G10.

You might occasionally get some retention, but it goes away quickly (within seconds), and is not the same as "burn-in" which is permanent.

Ask around on these and other AV forums... there's a lot of people who have this model and have had no problems.
