Up for notification only at the moment on Amazon is Universal Pictures Field Of Dreams starring Kevin Costner. The release date is down as the 4th November 2013:

Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) is encouraged by a mysterious voice to build a baseball pitch on his land. According to the celestial guide, this unusual step will result in the appearance of the ghost of his father's hero, the baseball legend Shoeless Joe Jackson (Ray Liotta). Bemused yet intrigued by the heavenly intervention, Ray risks his livelihood installing the pitch, and finds an unlikely, and unwilling, partner to help explain the reasons he is doing so: burned-out radical author Terence Mann (James Earl Jones)

I wonder who it was that thought it would be a good idea to photoshop a baseball into the background rather than use the original artwork. What a tosser!!

This cover is better with a more subtle baseball, also has a slight moon effect to it

Beware the UK version loses all the extras from the US release, more than 6 hours worth, including the commentary.

manicsounds - How do you know it loses the extras? The blu-ray isn't even out for another month, the back cover image isn't online and there haven't been any reviews afaik. You may well be completely correct but it would be nice for you to provide EVIDENCE to back up your statement.

Has anyone bought this. I saw a copy in HMV and there are no extras listed on the back cover. Does this mean they are in fact missing?

There are no extras on this disc

Unfortunately manicsounds was correct with his information as there are no special features. A poor effort by Universal!

I bought the US version instead.

Cheaper, earlier, with extras.

No brainer.
