Default Sony NWZ-S545 or Apple iPod Touch

I'm currently selling my Sansa Clip Plus, because I want a new portable music/media player with a larger screen and more storage space than my Sansa Clip plus. I also have the Denon AH-C710 earphones. I've been researching the Sony NWZ-S545 and the Apple iPod Touch and I want to know which one to get. The following are my requirements:
1. Excellent sound quality through my Denon AH-C710 earphones.
2. Excellent screen quality.
3. Good build quality.
4. Reliable
5. Easy to use.
6. I usually don't buy mp3s but starting too. Most of the time I usually buy audio cd version of the same MP3 album at amazon.com or from the amazon.com marketplace (stores in amazon.com) and rip them to MP3 320 kbps with Windows Media Player. I usually listen to the audio cd version at home or when I drive my car and the MP3s in my MP3 player when I go to the gym or before bed.
7. Must have good battery life.

Out of the two (Sony or Apple) which one is better and why?
