Default ABC Family Disney Animation Marathon

Right now, they're showing Hercules, and on ABC Family HD, it's in Hi-Def. It looks beautiful. I'm hoping we get non-Diamond Blu releases next year. Up next is Aladdin, which has been rumored for February release, and then Pinocchio, which is out.

Anyone else watching?

This was the first time that Hercules was broadcast in full HD.

Disney Channel HD's broadcasts of Hercules were the 1.33:1 modifed version upconverted to 720p.

Aladdin looked amazing in 1080, wow can't wait for the 90's movies to get released,(Beauty and the beast, Aladdin, Lion King, Tarzan) I think Beauty and the Beast is set for a release next year.

It was actually 720p HD.

ABC HD, ABC Family HD, ESPN HD, ESPN 2 HD, Disney Channel HD, and Disney XD HD all broadcast at 720p.

Hercules looked excellent in 720p. I only wished that Fox created a new HD master for The Sound of Music. The one being used now looks like a 480p upconverted to 720p.

Agree, but I'd still rather watch a HD broadcast than DVD upconvert. Too bad I don't get this channel in HD.
