But I like the idea of having a signature with a pic. I mean, as long as it isn't an animated gif and has size limitations (not so big that you can't stretch the forum but not so small that you can't have a varity of different images to choose from).

yea i mean i know this isnt a sports website or anything..but i love showing my bleed BLUe pride..during football and hockey(Giants and Rangers) and it'd technically "go" with the website

The cleaner the forum, the better. So, IMG signatures, which may or may not be abused, are probably not a very good idea.
