Some publishers like EA have their own with yet another name.

Not necessarily true. Often stuff is released without warning and I don't list demos in this thread. It's just for full products/services and the more interesting expansions.

possibly qore, havn't made up my mind. only real reason i would get it is for the MS demo. Can't make up my mind if its worth paying a little extra to have it early.

My guess is its a big fat nothing for the week, but i might make a small purchase.

good catch, nhl will probably get picked up by me. its a tough call though, used for $30 in a few months is a good possibility.

the new controls are bad. its difficult to do a pass horizontally across the ice, because its the same control as a deke. i prefer classic controls so its not too big of a deal.

no trophies, the soundtrack is horrid and the game seems kind of tough. ive only scored a few goals in the demo and the cpu seems to beat my goalie on pretty easy saves.

I'm not too much into fighting games, but the demo is great, and the auditions videos from PSN are really funny (mainly the last one)

I think the new controls are great. You angle your passes with the left stick not the right stick.

I dont care about the soundtrack...would have loved trophies but I have stopped expecting things for the ps3 from EA cause they suck lol.

Also you CAN switch to classic nhl 94 controls if you want you know...you can do that in the demo too

The demo was great...especially the little glimpse at be a pro...I have a feeling most of my time will be spent on that.

Im gonna go pick the game up later today. Very excited.

If you get it sometime soon PM me your PSN and you can join my little be a pro team for the ea hockey league.

Oh also I think the AI is great. When I was playing as zetterberg on the be a pro demo I made a pass to the center and he cut around the net.....i cut to the front of the goal and the second i broke free of my guy he made a perfect pass to my stick and I one-timed it into the top corner of the net. Very nice.
