Terrific, though I'll likely wait for Amazon to order these and nearly all of the 29 releases.

Specs are coming.

I wish they'd used the 2-disc art on M&C. It's much better and doesn't have "SuperCrowe"

Master & Commander's interactive popup map is probably the first time I've been interested in an "extra" other than commentaries (I could care less about PiP green-screen stuff).

Master and Commander is worth buying.

Next to The Wrath of Khan, it is my favorite Star Trek film.

he's citing that Wrath of Khan was inspired by Horatio Hornblower, and Nicholas Meyer's love of exactly these kinds of books

It's awesome. It completely changes the notion of a sailing ship war picture. The horror of the battle scenes are just stunning.

It has the best sound design of any film I've heard in the last 10 years(Children of Men is my recent favorite)

In uncompressed it will be godlike

The movie itself is thrilling and beautiful. A classic

They have the ship in the San Diego Maritime Museum, I got to go a few years back after ComicCon

I had met Richard Taylor at the Narnia panel before I went, and afterwords I got to thank him for the film, and he was a little shocked ("Well, everyone thanked you for LOTR and Narnia, so I though I'd hit you with a big favorite of mine")

I don't think anyone can be dissapointed with it

It's a kindof off-the-wall remark until you think about it a bit

In Master & Commander, even the DD soundrack had me thoroughly convinced I was in the hold of a ship. The cinematography captures the feel too. Amazing film. Few actors could pull off a roll like captain Jack with authority of Russell Crowe.
