Did they cut any of the violent scenes in Gladiator like they did with Braveheart?

No, both versions of Gladiator were passed uncut by the BBFC.

And Braveheart was not cut in all European countries. The Dutch release is uncut.

I thought the scene in Braveheart where Mel Gibson slits the guards throat while tied to a post was cut in the UK.
