Lord of the Rings Blu-ray trailer? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone seen a Lord of the Rings bluray trailer. I hear from someone on another site. That they downloaded off BD-live of the Grand Torino clint eastwood movie. but i rented it and couldn't see it. Also i heard from another source it was on the 2nd disk of the Woodstock bluray set. Can anyone confirm these sources or have you seen it anywhere else?

It's on the Woodstock's 2nd disc, (the one with the spacial features) It's a pretty cool 6 min 41 sec trailer!

i'm at work so sadly i cannot watch. is there anything special to it? if it's strictly a movie trailer, i've seen them all! if it's showcasing the upcoming BD, hell yeah i'm gonna track down a copy to watch the trailer.

i remember back in 99' ppl were going to movies just to watch the star wars episode 1 trailer. that was back in the day when i refused to watch trailers to movies i wanted to see anyway...so yeah, didn't watch a single trailer for star wars eps 1-3...well until after i saw the movies =p

Is that the trailer for Blu-ray? I might be mistaken but I thought I saw a couple shots from the EE. In any case, it's a pretty damn epic trailer.

The trailer on the Woodstock 2nd disc is the "supertrailer" that has been previously available on the ROTK deluxe soundtrack CD/DVD (the one with the green embossed cover)

Just watched the blu-ray trailer for it via BD-Live on the Watchmen - Directors Cut disc 1. It looked outstanding, cannot wait.

for what ever reason it's not available to canadians because i have tried every Warner Blu-ray and nothing, probably because alliance is the distributor up north.

And that's not even the full quality we'll get. I looked at the bitrate on my PS3 and it clocked in around 8-10 if I remember correctly. We should get around 25 -30 mbps.

Yes this set will be Warners benchmark. It will kill any doubt some people have against warner Blu

I never really understood the hate for them. just look at Watchmen and TDK. Simply outstanding

I just don't see the point of viewing the trailer on Youtube. The whole point is to get a sample of LOTR in HD right?

The only hate I see is that Warner wouldn't give us both the theatrical and extended editions, which can no doubt be done via seamless branching but Warner decided to only give us the theatrical version with the extended edition coming later around the release of The Hobbit, or so rumored.

Well, considering its the "Super Trailer", it wouldn't matter for this trailer has been out for over a good year or more (saw it January '08... ) So its just an upscaled version of it. They also added some stupid looking blue bubble to it at the end saying "Coming Soon to Blu-Ray"
