I just received an email from amazon.com that the release date for the TCM remake has been bumped from September 8th to the 29th.

Anybody else get this?

Is this just the date that it becomes available to amazon or is this the official new release date?

At least it's not as bumped back as far as The Exorcist.

Well that upsets me a good deal, I was really looking forward to adding this amazing remake to my collection.

Warner did the same thing with Snakes On A Plane, which was also supposed to come on September 8th.

Has anyone by chance seen anything on Creepshow getting bumped back as well? It was part of the this catalog announcement and I presume it might be.
If so, that sucks because I'm still waiting on Warner to ship my Watchmen, which they won't until Creepshow comes out.
Ah well, at least the horror films in this wave will still be out in plenty of time for Halloween.

Creepshow appears to still be on track for a Sept 8th release.

As long as it comes out thats all I care about. Why don't they release Leatherface:TCM III along with it? Hopefully MGM will do a good release for TCM II like they did with the DVD.

well I am disappointed I was really looking froward to picking this up on the 8th i really liked the movie just as much as the original. At least Freddy VS Jason and creepshow are still on track to be released on the 8th. Oh well at least my wallet wont be hit as hard on the 8th now the 15th is going to hurt me..

The movie wasn't that great anyway, so a few extra weeks won't hurt that bad. I may add it eventually.
