Problem with MR 73 and Sony BDP-S300 - Blu-ray Forum

Spending the week at the in-laws and decided to pop in MR 73. This is a Region Free film from France. Have had this one for awhile but haven't viewed it yet. Attempting to view it on my father-in-law's BDP-S300. This machine seems to load real slow in general but this one isn't loading at all. Maybe a player related issue? Any advice for getting this to play? Last time I was here I watched the German edition of Rob Roy on the same player so I have no idea wth this is about.

Hello,

I actually still have one of these players and just tested the French disc. It plays just fine. I'd recommend that you probably see what was the last firmware upgrade Sony issued for this player and upload it.
