Being from Canada, I just wanted to wish my American neighbors a happy July 4th, which I'll now be celebrating every year too, as my new daughter's birthday!! We named her McKenna and she was a healthy 8lbs, 1 oz

Congrats! I am a dad x3 so I know how exciting this is!

I think being born on a notable day in history is a good thing. The closest we have is that my daughter was born on November 5 (Guy Fawkes Day). In a way, it's not too dissimilar from Independence Day, except poor Guy didn't succeed. Still, both days have movies made after them, soon to be on Blu-ray!
