Default Enhanced PlayStation Network Trophies Online

This was posted in the Trophies thread, but nobody is noticing or discussing this topic.

Quote:
Ever since Trophies were implemented in the XMB, the PS3 experience has been greatly improved. Sony took it one step further and allowed users to view their Trophies on the web. Now, things are getting even more detailed thanks to an upcoming update to the system. Over on the official PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced some added functionality to the web-based Trophy system that Trophy nuts (see: Colin Moriarty) should be fairly excited about.

By logging into PlayStation.com, PS3 users will be able to view more detailed bits of information regarding their Trophy collection, compare Trophies with multiple friends, compare specific Trophy requirements, use a new sorting feature and -- most interestingly -- take their portable ID to other external social networking sites, like Facebook.

The blog post also has an introductory video by Director of PlayStation Network Operations Eric Lempel, so if you're keen on getting more details, head over to the PlayStation Blog now.
Pretty neat; i'd only use it to show my trophy progress on Facebook.

Here's a Youtube link to the intro video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrILjmVolPE

it sounds kind of cool, but i dont think i would personally use it that much, i never look at playstation.com, the only time i look at or compare trophies is on the PS3 from the XMB

Yeah, i just signed on to Playstation.com for the first/second time right now. I feel sort of ripped off because i don't see that Portable ID option on my page! I only wanted to use it for Facebook, but i can't even do that.

Well i'm officially confused: i got my trophy card but nothing is displayed.

I don't think Playstation.com has gone through the update yet as i and other people don't see these new features.

I don't understand the vertical design of SCEA's Portable ID.

How'd you get that fancy one with Drake? All I get is the plain black one.

Sweet. Much better. How come North America doesn't have all of these options?

Damn, i still don't have the portable ID option on my NA site. I guess i should just go with the EU site.

I could see the new features on Shin-Ra's page, but when i sign on to my own and "error" occurs. Is ths because i'm in Canada or something? This is really annoying. Apparently i need a Playstation Underground account?

I was able to put it on facebook, but it's the smallest thing ever lol. You have to click on it to enlarge it.

Dont care. They need to focus on enhancing the trophy experience on the PS3 itself.

They can start by allowing the deletion of trophy lists.

They can follow that by having trophies separated into two subsections. One for PSN games and one for retail/platinum games.

After that inside of those subsections they can then allow the ability to sort your trophy lists by last date played (current default), alphabetically, and % completed.

Then they can add a leaderboard FINALLY that can be accessed on the PS3 and online.

After that I have a crapload more ideas but those are my must haves want them done NOW list.

I'm curious, are you actually interested in the games, how they play, look etc, or are you only interested in the the trophies you can get?
