Default Cheapest Place to Get Replacement Bulbs

My Bulb is finally reaching the end of it's lifespan in my 46" Sony Wega and I was curious where the cheapest place to get replacement bulbs from is. I know I need an XL-2400U.

I would be getting this bulb for free but Circuit City had to go and go out of business.

I used this online seller for my new lamp; seemed to be the cheapest place around and highly recommended.

Note: Some folks recommend saving a few $$ by just buying the lamp without the housing. In my case it was only a few $$ more (~$10) to get the complete package. I thought that the few extra $$ was cheap insurance since I have clumsy fingers. In any case, check both with, and without, housing prices.

EDIT: BTW they sell OEM parts so no worry about getting some wierd parts from???

I was looking at Advanced Lamps the other day and so far they have the cheapest one I've been able to find.

You folks may want to read the thread at High Def Forum before buying anything from Advanced Lamps. There is a reason that they are less. That thread was the reason I went with Doiscount Merchants.

Have you considered contacting Sony? I searched high and low on the Internet for a replacement lamp for Mitsubishi DLP's and it turned out that the cheapest source was Mitsubishi themselves and they are OEM as well.
