Question The Orphanage audio problem

I finally picked up a copy of The Orphanage in a trade. Ive really been looking forward to checking this movie out and tried to start watching it today. I've made it 10 mins in and can't take the noise anymore. There is a hissing noise the movie makes the majority of the time there's no dialogue. Its extremely distracting. I've researched it online and it seems to be a somewhat well known problem, but every solution I've found involves updating your receiver or changing the mode to pcm on your receiver. That presents a new problem, I don't have a receiver. Hopefully one day I will, but for now I only have the TV speakers. I have a new panny st30. I have not done any updates on it or my blu player, which may solve it, but since my TV n blu player are both new I don't see it fixing a problem from a couple years ago. I tried messing with the audio settings on the TV and the blu player and the noise is still there. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this problem, so for those with experience, any tips on fixing this? Any ideas would be a big help, especially if I can enjoy this blu in the near future.
