Question Universal Studios Blu-ray movies

Do all of the releases have that silver part on the main menu? it seems like most of the older movies have just a simple menu and that's it.. and they have that screen saver which you can't disable at all.

All the Universal studio films I own have the same menu template with parts of the films playing in the background.

If you think they're bare, you should see the universal ones where there's no words on the menu, just symbols representing 'play', 'scenes' etc...

An example of this is Daylight the UK version.

Yeah. About a Boy is another example. I believe the technical term for it is 'laziness.'

Yep just Laziness. It wouldn't kill them to put proper menu's on ALL their releases even if it is just words instead of symbols.

To disable the screen saver, typically you just need to hit the enter button on your remote.

Menu button works as well. It resumes playback right where it left off.

Any ways to not have the screen saver come on at all?

Yep, don't pause it for more than a minute or two.

There's usually an option in the main menu to turn it off.
