I like the minimalist approach, balanced and the simplicity of your set-up. I also like the equipment you have as well. But I have to ask...is that pink on the walls?

I don't think it's pink....I think it's the camera not reproducing the correct colour.

Like you, I like the minimalist approach as well. Gives a very clean look.

No, it's not as pink as the picture shows. (Not that there's anything wrong with that...) It's a lot more orange-y in person-- I just have a bad digital camera. Thanks for the nice words, though.

You have very nice equipment but I think those receivers would look better on a proper entertainment unit or shelves

No- if my parents would have named me Erik Erik, or even Erik Erikson, I would have been plotting my revenge against them for years.

Yes.... I like the overall look of the setup as well.....

John,

My digital camera "shakes" too My kid dropped it.... anyways... I've found that the lens gets stuck when trying to focus, so pressing your finger on the outer edges of the lens will sometimes free it up so it will stop shaking...... I guess I should get a new camera though

I agree. I like the set-up and the gear is very good, but the missing bottom to the natural rectangal brings attention directly to the components on the carpet. I think it would make a big difference if you invested in an entertainment center (doesn't have to be expensive). Otherwise, it looks nice.

Right, it was a gift from a family friend who knew I was a Star Wars nut as a kid. As I grew older and put different pictures of things I was interested in on the wall, that poster always stayed up. I finally got it professionally framed a few years ago, and it was expensive because the sheet was so big they needed to custom-cut the glass. But it was worth it!

That is one Incredible Poster .

I am a Star Wars Junkie, and I have to say I dont think I have EVER seen that poster in anyones collection.
The only place I have ever run across it is on the Internet. Exceptional Poster and the Framing is Excellent.

And while I am mentioning it.You have a Great HT System.

Love the Dual Subs and the Definitive Technology Speakers.Especially the Bipolar Surrounds.

Right, it's actually from the 1981 re-release, and a friend of my father's got it as a bonus when he pledged to NPR. He didn't care about Star Wars, and I was a Star Wars nut at the time, so he gave it to my dad. The framer was a local artist who has framed some other things for me-- each time it's better than I imagined it. She really does great work-- if anyone lives in the Twin Cities, and needs her info, PM me.
