Title says it all!just watched hatchet on blu ray and absolutely loved it and also watched I spit on your grave and loved that too!so just asking for any other blu rays I can pick up in these type of genres!!I have Texas chainsaws,Friday 13ths,devils rejects and last house on the left so any others??heard good stuff about midnight movie and behind the mask,anyone seen these??what's your verdicts??

So any recommendations are welcome,got money burning a hole in my pocket!any copies to sell either let me know,I'm in uk though!thanks

i remember when i saw the original spit on your grave. sort of liked it in a weired, scary way. the replay value would be creepy on spit on your grave. i couldnt own it.

i recommend the original Last House on the Left. havent seen the new one, but i think its on sale at BB.

Unfortunately, most of my favorite horror movies haven't been released yet. :/ There's only "core" horror movies out on blu-ray.

Can't go wrong with what's already been mentioned; I like the first "Saw" film at the least, and the original "I Spit On Your Grave" might become my favorite (does that make me a psycho?!

). I can only add:

"Broken" (a 2006 low-budget indie film from England, not on BD yet)
"Frailty" (not really graphic at all, but it's still creepy and a heck of a good film)
"Funny Games" (UK BD available, if you can find it)
"Halloween" (original preferred, but the remake has its moments)
"High Tension"
"The Hitcher" (not on BD yet)
"Inside" (not on BD yet)
"One Hour Photo" (not on BD yet)
"Psycho" (hey, it's a classic!

)

These are not very good films at all, but are worth renting:

"The Human Centipede" (it has a very sick concept)
"Seed" (it's made by the worst director ever, but it's a darn gnarly film! Not on BD yet)

And if you really want to push the limit:

"Caligula" (I could only stomach the first 20 minutes

)
"Salo: 120 Days of Sodom" (this is one I do like, but it is still very sick and I believe it's banned in certain countries. Not on BD yet for region A).

Just had a look at the trailers on some of these!I'm intrigued to see what funny games is all about!gets really good reviews too so will pick that up!also fancy all the boys love Mandy lane and I can get it for about £5 so cheap as chips!hitcher(Sean bean)is available too on region a,and I can play them so may pick it up,is it really creepy???

Its not out on Blu but this is one movie u should see at any cost. Its also has been dubbed in English but remember to get the UNCUT or Unrated version as all the gory scenes have been trimmed in the R Rated cut.

There are so many other movies as well but I ve listed which are the best.

Not in the US. But I got it on Blu-ray right here, region B and no English subs, though.

Yes, "Funny Games" is brutal and wicked!

Is that version of "The Hitcher" the remake? I haven't seen it yet.

I do enjoy the original with Rutger Hauer though. My parents thought the original was intense and freaky; I thought it was thrilling. Not really gory, but definitely suspenseful.

i see Funny Games getting a few mentions, and while i think its a brilliant movie i dont think it really is what the original poster is looking for. it could be consider torture but not in a physical sense, its psychological. the majority of the movie is dialogue. again, i think its a great movie but if you go into it expecting it to be torture porn or a slasher youre going to be really disappointed.

also, one of my favorite slashers which is on blu-ray and i dont think anyone has mentioned:
