I love this movie alot, I've probably watch It a thousand times, but does anyone think It will ever land on Blu-ray? Does anyone else besides me love this movie and want It on Blu too?

No, but the HD DVD looks decent enough. I'd give it a 6/10 myself for PQ.

I was like 11 or 12 when Bandit was in theaters. My friend Jay & I went to see it like 10 times. I recently bought the DVD & watched it... It really hasn't aged well. Gleason still steals the whole thing though.

I really like this movie. I have the HD-DVD, so I'm not really clammoring for a blu-ray (and would not re-buy on blu unless there was some serious upgrade). But, as there WAS an HD-DVD release, I would think that, eventually, we'll get the blu. Probably not super high on the studio's commitment list, though.

I caught this the other night and it is still a really fun movie. Just like Hooper, everyone seemed to be in sync with one another. While this isn't high on my list, I might check it out via Netflix and see if it is worth buying.

Since it seemed most all of the Universal titles that were specualted about in the Univerial 100 thread have come true, I noted that this title was included on that list. I mean it really doesn't get more American than this movie, yet the US still doesn't have it on blu??
