Southland Canceled - Blu-ray Forum

NBC has canceled Southland, even though it's second season hasn't started yet. The ratings of the show fell greatly over the course of the first season and NBC didn't think the show was a good fit at an earlier hour. It's not known if NBC will air the 6 completed episodes of season 2, and the show may be shopped around to a cable network.

This was one of the better Dramas on network TV. This sucks.

Just more proof that NBC sucks. They cancelled My Name is Earl and now, Southland. This blows.

NBC has nothing that I wish to watch anymore. It's either ABC/FOX or cable for me. Mostly cable. AMC/HBO and others produce TV that is better than anything network can hope to have.

yet another reason I had stopped watching shows before they got established.. Guess I need to go back to doing that.

What? I'm assuming you only read the thread title. TNT picking up the second season episodes is great. If people happen to tune in during the first season re-runs and like what second season episodes that have been shot, this show my have a second life after all.
