Default Speaker wire plates

http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...#specification

I am thinking of picking up some of these. Do you loose any quality by using these? I'm mainly going to use them for my rear speakers, so quality loss wouldn't be that big of an issue; however, I may use them for my towers also.

Is there something else out there that I should be using instead of these if I get something like this?

I use those without any discernible degradation in sound quality.

If you are worried about any quality loss when using plates, you could do what I did in my bedroom, and if your cable is narrow enough, thread it through the plates and connect directly to your amp/speakers. It still keeps things nice and tidy, and you're getting direct terminations.

I use those in my setup as well. As long as your connections are all nice and tight, you won't lose any sound quality.

I`m in the middle of cleaning up my set up and used the 4 speaker plate from mono and hooked up my rears and patio speakers and they work great.

I just set installed them. There is no sound degradation and they look great. Also eliminates the wire mess.
