A live action trailer for Halo ODST was made and it doesn't get me excited for a game, instead it gets me excited for a movie. Definitely not bad for advert. Get Neill Blomkamp back and put this thing into production.

I've never played the games (yeah, shame on me!), but the posters, screenshots, and videos all look decent enough (and the soundtracks are not bad). So yeah, in the right hands, a "Halo" movie would be sweet. I'm hoping that a good director (like James Cameron) would do it, rather than a bad one (like Uwe Boll

).

Although the trailer that Logan put on looks fun too.

I think it would be extremely funny if during the final climax of the movie, the screen goes blank, and then they show an Xbox360 with the red ring of death. It then cuts to some kid crying. Then his mother feeling sorry for poor little kid, ships his 360 away. The kid sits on the porch and then the UPS package arrives with his refurbished 360. It takes it inside and...
he gets another red ring of death and then the credits roll.

I have only played the first Halo on PC WAY back. Does Master Chief ever remove his mask? If not, a movie version would probably suck.

Im really not a halo fan,Hoever that trailer got me pumped to want to play Halo.

There is a cinematic with his mask off in the sequel, but his face is still not shown.

Besides, the faceless aspect worked in V for Vendetta.
