PlayStation 3 Platinum Range Expands

On September 2nd the PlayStation 3 Platinum range received a handful of new titles. These popular games require no introduction and may well be of interest to any recent purchasers of the new PS3 model.

All these games have reached sales of over 400,000 and so to celebrate we are offering consumers a chance to add these unmissable titles to their collection for an unbeatable price – £19.99 / €29.99.

They should already be available as greatest hits here. I've seen a couple of them already priced at $29.99 recently.

It's the sale of 400.000 copies that qualified KZ2 for platinum, not the passage of 7 months.

I haven't seen them yet in Canada, but if they are apart of the Greatest Hits then i'm definetly going for Killzone 2.

Some people may find this weird, but i'm waiting to buy only Resistance 3 lol.

I will probably take the opportunity to build my collection up a little more, since i've already drained all the fun that i can out of the games i have.

I haven't been to any stores recently, but have people (especially in Canada) seen Killzone 2 on the Greatest Hits? I've checked the Best Buy and Futureshop website and they don't say anything. I'll have to check in store...

I think they might pull an Uncharted on us again

...I have all of them except for Pacific Drift so is no big deal to me but if they do the "Greatest Hits" to the U.S it will bring Sony lots of money during the holidays this year, especially with the new slim and price cut.

Best Buy is having a BOGOHO sale on nearly 150 games, and IIRC, of those 4, only MGS4 was $29.99.

Picking up MGS4 (not played one since the first so do I need a background story) and Resistance 2 (love the first).
