Default Opinions On What Is Kevin Spacey's Best Overall Movie??

This should also be a good category and actor to talk about! He has alot under his belt and some good ones at that! Give your opinions on his best work and even his worst movie if it applys! Curious to see what movie wins this battle! I would say my take would be:

Best Movie: A Time To Kill

Best Performance: The Usual Suspects

Favorite: The Negotiator

I voted for "The Negotiator" because although "A Time To Kill was a better movie by a little bit, I felt Spacey's presence was better and more of an impact in The Negotiator!! Got Em!!

He's been in a TON of good movies. And he's fantastic in most of them.

However, I think his best performance is in American Beauty, and that's also his best movie. Although it was close between that and Usual Suspects.

Glengarry Glen Ross, Followed by L.A. Confidential..... but Glengarry Glen Ross is easily the best movie he's ever been in. (I do love American Beauty too...... but it's not in the same league as Glengarry Glen Ross)

he was the consummate scumbag in Glengarry Glenn Ross. Also loved his performance in American Beauty....I would imagine there were many, many frustrated and disgruntled husbands that saw that movie and wished they could break out like that.

I thought he was good in KPAX, but thought the movie as a whole fell short.

I'm confused about the titles in some of these votes. Is this poll about which movie Mr. Spacey gave his best performance,or (as in the title) is it the best movie he's been in.

I define it as best performance,so I'm torn between 'Se7en' and 'LA confidential'.Gave my vote to 'LA confidential', but think 'Se7en' is the best movie he's been in.Reason I gave my vote to 'LA confidential' is that there he was a leading man wereas in 'Se7en' he had a supporting role-and what a role it was.

He's been in so many good films, like the two you mentioned, plus add Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil,Se7en,American Beauty,The Usual Suspects,Swimming W/ Sharks,Outbreak and Beyond the Sea to the list, I was at the Dollar Tree the other day and picked up the Beyond the Sea soundtrack for a buck, Spacey ca actually sing to Bobby Darin tunes pretty damn good!

Thats why I say best "Overall" that meaning best movie/performance as a whole! Sometime the best movie & best performance may differ so if u take it as an overall combined best movie/performance u may be able to vote for one movie! Hopefully that helps! Got Em!!

Thats weird, but thats why we have our opinions! I watched American beauty and it was good but I would easily prefer The Negotiator, Seven, Usual Suspects, A Time To Kill over that movie!! But I guess I could mention he had a bigger impact on American Beauty than he did on A Time To Kill & Seven as he wasnt the main star as he was in American Beauty! Thats what makes these polls tough as well!! Got Em!!

While I think it's the best movie he's been in, I think he was best in K-Pax.
