Default Multi-Slice a Requirement for BRD?

Hello,

I am trying to determine if mulit-slice is an requirment for video tsreams used in Blu Ray images meant for Mass replication. It seems from what info i can gather that it is a requirement for level 4.1. But it is unclear if it is so for level 4.0. Streams encoded at level 4.0 (MaxBitRate < 20Mbits/sec) should pass mass replication standards at no slices, and streams encoded at level 4.1 should be multi-sliced.

Can someone confirm if this is in fact the "spec" as it were?

Thanks,
Nato

No, not really, just trying to understand the spec. Although, to be honest, i am not sure how this would lead to pirating, but that's what makes me the newbie I guess. I still do nothave an answer though. Should I be posting this on another part of the forum? If so please advise.
