Vector18's system - Blu-ray Forum

The TV is the new Samsung LED UN55B8000 55inches,
my bluray is Sony bdp-s560, my receiver is an Onkyo TX-SR507, I have a wd hd media player, an HP desktop
connected via vga, and I have on the in the mail Klipsch
surround sound speaker system and sub. Here's a couple
of pics of the system and one with my son in it. LOL!

Nice way to break into the world of HT. I think you are off to a good start, and I am sure if you hang around this site long enough, you'll get upgraditis and improve your speakers and sub. Nice wing span on your kid too!

Thanks for the reply. What would have been a suggestion for
better speakers to match my onkyo receiver? I didn't get them yet and can always send them back. I went with the klipsch hd500 system considering I'm on a tighter budget
after just buying that TV. Anyway, here is a pic of my old TV before
the 55inch was put up.

and here's a pic of my rears. I had to channel out solid
concrete and than replaster over the wires to get them there. I live in an apt with solid concrete ceilings.

just keep in mind I haven't installed my klipsch's yet, those are my old sonys from my old system.
