Default Newbie Blu-ray Question!! Help

Hello all,

firstly to introduce myself - HELLO and thankyou in advance for any replies and technical feedback.

Ok, my dilemma. I bought my new PC with a PIONEER BluRay burner installed. Really happy with this. Now, I have a Sony HD-R video camcorder which I will now shoot my home movies in AVCHD - or basically, use the camera's high def 1080i format.

Previously to buying the Bluray burner, I would shoot in the best DVD mode and I would transfer the files to PC. I don't want to edit the files at all as I believe you loose all the quality of the look of the picture when playing back on TV. Anyhow, I used to use TMPgenc Xpress to make simple menus and burn my recoded videos to playable format (with the simple menu) on a DVD.

This was great for me - no loss of picture quality. I used the setting on TMPGenc - 'Do not convert MPEG-2 compliant files' So all it did was make the menu and burn back the files to a playable DVD.

Now - the BIG dilemma. TMPGenc does not work at all on my system (latest version). Comes up with errors prior to even loading up. So my $1 million dollar question is:

'Is there any other program I can use (which is just as simple to use as TMPGenc Xpress), and, which won't go in and 'reconvert' my Bluray home video recorded files?'

All I want to do is make a simple Bluray Home Video - with a simple top menu - and without converting my bluray AVCHD files. Almost like a 'Burn Direct to disk', but with the option of adding a menu. TMPGENc Xpress was great for this when it came to making Home DVD's, but I juct can't get the latest version to work at all on my PC.

Any help or info on programs which are just as simple to use would be great and appreciated.

Thanks.
