The Carrie Diaries (The CW)

I haven't seen a thread on this yet. I DVRed the "Pilot" last week and finally got around to watching it late last night to see if I wanted to add it to my DVR for tonight's episode or on a weekly basis.

I know its based/is a prequel to Sex and the City a show I have never seen (other than a few episodes during free preview weeks, I don't get HBO) so I probably didn't get a lot of the stuff that was talked about during the episode.

Going in knowing this was a prequel I was still surprised to see that it's going to be based in the 80's.

I think I will stick around for a little while I really like AnnaSophia Robb (who has grown up nicely!) I was surprised to see Martha Jones aka Freema Agyeman a former Doctor Who companion! Never seeing "SiC" it held my attention enough that I will see where it goes for a while.

If anyone else saw the "Pilot" was that Molly Ringwald playing the lady that worked at the law firm? I didn't see her name in the credits but it sure looked like her.

This was so much better than I thought! And AnnaSophia Robb is great as Carrie, I'm interested to see how they will introduce the characters of SATC (if the show last) but keeping around the Carrie Diarie ones, because I don't think they will get rid of them all..

Finished Season 1 on Sunday. Such a sweet show. Couldn't be happier it was renewed for a second season. I hope it continues for a while. AnnaSophia Robb is great and really likeable on this. I also love the character of Walt.

Returns Friday night. I'm excited. Please don't dip below 1 Million viewers.

Friday night isn't a great night for this show but I'm happy it's returning. It's a lovely show.

Not too surprising due to it's low ratings, but The Carrie Diaries has been canceled. This is disappointing because I actually enjoyed this show.

I enjoyed the first season but for what ever reason something else being on at the same time or something else I never returned.
