I forgot this was in my dvd collection. For those of you who have a vacuum fetish (hey, everyone is different! we still love you though) the film is not what the title implies.

This a wonderful and WEIRD British black comedy by director Danny Boyle. It's run-time is short (just over 1 hour), but the 2 main characters are complete polar opposites and I was laughing throughout most of the movie. I usually write my own synopsis but I'm lazy as hell at 4:00 a.m. so here it is from imdb.....

"Pete (played by Michael Begley) has recently got a new job as a vacuum cleaner salesman. His mentor is the veteran Tommy (played by Timothy Spall), whose methods are rather rude; his sole target is to be the best salesman in his team and to receive the "Golden Hoover". Their temperaments are quite different and the apprentice's days turn wilder and wilder."
