Pulled the trigger on the G-15. Still a lot to do with setting it up, but it sure looks good. 5'' smaller than our old Mit 55'', but the picture is better and the screen doesn't reflect nearly as much (old set had a shiny screen protector).
Would love some help on a few small issues. 1) Anyone with Time Warner able to get the cable remote set up? 2) When setting the cable box options (again, Time Warner), is it best to leave all output formats enabled? Particularly interested in the standard content picture...what's the setting that will give the best picture? Can't wait to dig deeper into my settings and tweaking (using the CNET settings now). Have to wait on some HDMI cable for my Blu-Ray. My old TV only had DVI. Xbox 360 looks great, HD channels look great. |
