Crap. I just bought the original last week.

Not sure if I like the other 4 enough to warrant this pick up but I might consider it.

thanks for the post, but not a big fan of the originals myself. only like the mark wahlberg one, so dont think ill be picking it up.

Oh man... the original was superb. 5 star movie for any sci-fi fan! I can't believe how good it was compared to the Mark W. flick... too bad too.

I guess we all have our own tastes.

I picked this set up a few months back from amazon.com for $57.99US or so. Its a very nice box, with a few flaws (like how the discs are stored). But for those who are fans, definately pick this up!

Its a nice set that I picked up back when it was released. The quality of the movies goes downhill with each IMO but the 1st movie is a total classic IMO and the 2nd one is decent as well. I saw the remake at one point but did not care for it very much.
