Dil Bole Hadippa - USA Release?

Ok, this is the coolest movie I have seen this year so far. The color, soundtrack and movie itself are awesome and I rarely see foreign films. Anyone have any info on a USA release? I have the soundtrack, bought it on iTunes this weekend because it's just so addictive.

I have to say, if you have never hear or seen this movie - GO SEE IT NOW and listen to the music! You will be hooked.

I highly doubt there will be a US blu-ray release of this Indian film. It's only playing in a handful of cinemas in the United States and it's made virtually no money so far.

You're more likely to see a region C release.

It got some play at the Toronto Film Festival, but critical praise was low and most people commented that it was a rip-off of that terrible Amanda Bynes movie, She's The Man.

Perhaps you should post this question in the Region-C forum section to see if someone from Bollywoodblu-ray.com can tell you if there will be an english-friendly region-free release.

Ugh, that sucks about the cinemas. So it's not getting good likes here in the USA? Blah. People don't know a good movie if it hit them in the head. Lol

I can see the similarities to the "She's The Man" stuff but that movie was awful. This one is so far beyond that.

It really has very little to do with the quality of the movie, and more to do with the fact that there is basically no market for Hindi language films in the USA. That's just the reality of things.
