Default Just a reminder.

Remind yourself that one day the game you are playing will be obsolete. The servers will shutdown, new games will come out, and your character will cease to exist. If you habitually neglect life due to these games one day you will wake up with a useless past, and a world of regret.

Love, CrazyOvaBlu!

Someday your family will all be dead and buried, does that mean you shouldn't spend time with them, too? (Yes, I know this is a somewhat flawed analogy, but it does get the point across).

I guess it depends on if you hate your relatives or not.

How 'bout you go **** yourself? I live my life to have fun.

Games will never be obsolete. They have this thing called a Single Player Campaign. Try it out sometime. Heck, I just broke out my SNES a few weeks ago and have been playing Super Metroid and Super Mario RPG. Guess what? My game saves are still there. Nothing ceased to exist and it obviously wasn't useless because it brought/brings me hapiness.

I've seen people post about some pretty useless threads before but I think this one takes the cake.

Wow that's some deep thinking shit.

Remember that soon you'll have forgotten what you just wrote on this forum, as will we, so why bother?
Regrets are for those who don't do what they want/like to do, period.

No difference. But know this Time is like a sword if you don't break it, it will break you.

Big difference. The mind is much more active when playing a video game than when watching tv. It's mental exercise.... like doing a crossword puzzle. Almost every study shows that the more you exercise your mind... the better you will be able to fend off the effects of dementia. About 50% of people over age 80 have some form of dementia. As I said, studies have shown that those who keep mentally active are less likely to have it, and if they do have it, it is less severe. If I live to 80.... I will still be playing games... and my mind will still be sharp.

Oh... and it's good for your eyesight too.
