It was one of the titles Tartan was going to release in the UK before they closed doors and their catalog got picked up by Palisades. Will probably come out sometime in the future.

Hmm, probably in the future I guess. They wanted to release it but I don't know why canceled. Perhaps they wanted to postpone it.

It was cancelled because Tartan is no longer in business. Palisades Films has taken over the library they owned. However, due to contractual limitations, Palisades is not able to distribute any titles at this time.

Hi Steve,

If you head over to the Insider section of the forum, you'll see from my thread that Palisades has been distributing the catalogue at least since May in the UK, and similarly in the US. However, this particular mystery is one I have been working on for the past month, and I have to say we thought we'd found the answer - but now we think we may have inaccurate information and are working to find out the truth.

Check back here every once in a while, I'll try and post something when I know more definitively.

Thank you for the update and correction. So just to be clear, you are attempting to release this but something is stopping it?

Hi Steve-Dave,

Without breaking confidentiality, the short version is the production process for this title fell victim to the collapse into administration of the original Tartan. As the new owners, we have been busy restoring the catalogue (in a legal sense) and keeping/getting back into circulation the titles. However, this title on BD is right now this minute a big fat question mark.

Soon as I know more and can talk about it here, I will. For the moment, consider it an abortive release scuppered by the collapse of the old Tartan.

Thanks for the update. I sure hope we get this on Blu-ray Disc so it can compliment my Uninvited BD.

Can't say any more than that I'm afraid.
From the A Tale of Two Sisters thread in the Europe and Region B section.
