Saw this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely pick up 4K on release.

Agreed. Saw it last night. While not on the level of TMNT or Warcraft, it played great in 3D, especially some of the stop motion animation. Loved the Harryhausen nod. 4K DI or not, no way am I going to downgrade to a flat 2D presentation. Pre-ordered the 3D edition.

Release windows are shrinking and shrinking. I figured it would come out before Christmas but like the 20th to make it closer to a 3 month window.

Fox is releasing their movies within 2.5 months. Mike & Dave, Ice Age, Miss Perequine, etc.

Not a day one release or anything, but once it drops to a low price, I'll certainly get it. It took a while for me to kick in but once it did, I had a blast with it. Easily one of Burton's better movies in a while.

I saw it twice in theatres so I'll definitely be picking it up. I might get both the 4K and 3D blu.
