Question TV Sound Help

Hey everyone

I have a Sammy 32" Full HD tv and a Sammy BD1600 player.

The picture is absolutely FANTASTIC, however, the sound isn't all that great. It's hard to explain the sound, it's good, just hard to understand.

Maybe it's because it's bracketed to the wall? Also, the room is completely empty (was a garage, just been converted to a room and furniture is slowly being moved in) so it might be something to do with that?

I don't have ANY speakers, and am relying completely on the built-in speakers. Is there any way to make it sound better out of the tv speakers or do I have to buy some speakers?

Sorry if that's confusing, I'm not very good at wording questions
Thanks very, very, very much if you've read all of that and are answering

Sandman, TV aren't know to have the best quality speakers from the get go.

You might want to check that all DRC options are set to off.

If you're not into surround, but you want to spend a couple bucks to improve the sound, check this out - I was at BB a week or so ago and got a chance to demo the Boston Acoustics TVee sound bar. It sounds fantastic..and I think it was only $300. Includes a wireless sub. Learns your tv remote's volume command. Truly seamless.

If you've ever heard their Receptor table radio, you know how amazing they can make something very small sound.
