Default Paradigm SE's coming soon!!

Paradigm Monitor Special Edition Speakers

"Paradigm’s new $299 SE 1 Speaker Beats $1,000+ Model in Blind Listening Tests."

Don't know what two models exactly but the other brands used for tests were B&W and Klipsch.

Here's a link to the article.

And here's a link to A youtube video featuring The SE's along with other new products

Looks like a Monitor/Studio Hybrid using the Monitor tweeters with Studio Mid-range and Bass drivers!! Available with real wood cabinets or a nice gloss black finish.

Might be a good speaker line worth waiting to check out for those of you planning to buy in the near future. As affordable as the Monitors with some quality of the Studios!

Those are purty.
I wonder if the SE line will have bi-poles as well?

Sharp looking speakers. I'm glad more manufacturers are starting to offer piano black as a finish.

Yeah I noticed that lately - B&W CM9's, the new Monitor Audio RX series, These(SE's) and now the Paradigm Studio v5's will also be available in Gloss Black! Only thing I don't like about Gloss/Piano Black is having to wipe off fingerprints especially if you got kids.. one reason I wanna trade my 60gb PS3 for a Slim.

Riff I hope they have a bi-poles/dipoles too. I would probably trade in my ADP-390's if they are close in price just cuz it would look more like my other speakers. The ADP-590's just cost too much for rear surrounds that only get used once in awhile.

I notice they're not up on paradigms website. The article says they'll be released after CEDIA. What is that and when?

Really? I wasn't aware of this, but I definitely like the addition! I listened to the cm9s the other day because of looks (and because I was tired of waiting on my center speaker to be built-put deposit down in June, still not done). I liked what I heard, and the styling was great. Anyways, I'll have to take a look at the new studio's with the piano black. I really liked the new styling of the v5s, and add in the piano black and they'll look great!

I just updated the original post with a youtube video - I guess this is a very small line and there will be no bipoles/dipoles available.
