Doesn't look great but at least there's a new horror movie for Halloween and the actress from You is great. I'll definitely go see it. Hopefully it's entertaining.

Apparently the total budget on this was 3M, so hopefully STX can at least turn a profit on this one too.

I appreciate them for trying to make a modern horror movie centered around today's technology.

With that being said this does not look good. I'll stick watch this since I have Regal Unlimited.

They briefly had a countdown app but it has been taken down apparently. It was the #1 downloaded app for a while.

Seeing A LOT of social media ads for this. A lot of the social media ads are a packed movie theatre audience reacting to the movie, similar to the Paranormal Activity marketing 10 years ago.

I think this will do $14-$17M opening weekend then have a gigantic drop in weekend 2, then disappear weekend 3-4.

When was the last time one of those ads was used? I remember they really started with Paranormal Activity and then all horror movies used it. People kind of stopped falling for it. But it may have been long enough now that a new generation will fall for it.
