Hello everyone,

Just bought Angesl and Demons in the UK and I though Blu rays are has universal codes that can be played to any bluray player. When did this happens?

by codes Im assuming you mean region codes. Not all movies are region free if that what your asking.

As pacificvibes says, not all Blu-ray Discs are region free. Most are, but that still leaves a significant number that could be locked.

You can use websites like this one to check if a particular release is region free or not. It also shows you the three different regions that a disc can be locked to.

There is no such thing as a region-FREE bluray disc.

Only Region-ALL (ABC)

region free is the same as region all
