As reported, Pioneer introduced three new 3D Blu-ray players at CEDIA; the BDP-430 retailing for $299 BDP 41FD Elite retailing for $399 BDP-43FD Elite retailing for $499 For those owners of the 05/51 players who waited on the "soon to be available DTS-HDMA firmware" that took over a year, doesn't it sound sound like deja vu when this release talks about the "yet to be announced option that should be revealed before they hit the street next spring". May want to wait to see what's actually available before putting in your order. Also, for $499, the Pioneer will end up going head-to-head with the recently announced Oppo 3D BDP-93 player. If these players fail to sell, it could be the end of Pioneer and especially Pioneer Elite as we know it, (if it hasn't happened already) ![]() Last edited by HD Man; 09-24-2010 at 02:46 PM. |
