Default Apt. setup from Mobile ES

My living-room setup is getting to the point where I am extremely happy with it. Currently I have a Samsung UN55F6300 55" LED Smart TV, Sony STR-DH710 7.1 HD receiver, Sony Slim PS3 500GB, Sony DVP-S7700 DVD player (used as a cd player), and a Sony MDS-JE520 MD Recorder. HDMI, coax digital, and optical cables running between devices.

My speakers are: Energy C2's mains, Energy C-C1 center, Energy C-R1 side surrounds, Sony SR-15 surround backs, and Sony SA-WM40 120W sub. This is setup in an apt building, which some might say overkill, however I have only had one complaint in my 6mos of living in my place. I plan on replacing the receiver, surround backs, and sub in the coming months.

The bedroom has a Samsung UN46F6300 46" LED Smart TV, Samsung HW-FM45C soundbar with wireless sub, and a Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player (S185 in the picture has been replaced).

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I can't help smiling from ear-to-ear when I put a movie on or PS3 games with surround sound.

I think you really meant C-R100 as your side surrounds, you have it right in your sig and I use to own the C-R100.

Very nice setup indeed

Thanks BigAl87, yes I meant to put C-R100's. I was searching them one day and came up with C-R1 and C-R100's, couldn't find a difference. I am planning on adding an additional set to replace the Sony rear surrounds.

From there plan for Atmos with these........

This will replace the 710 receiver:

Then 2 pairs of these for FR/RR overhead, if my measurements are correct they will fit ontop of the C2's and surround back C-R100's. That way I can keep my Energy's in the system and just add the Onkyo's for Atmos.

my first receiver was the Sony DG710... it was OK, but that Denon is gonna be a huge step up. I remember when I got the Integra it was a great upgrade.

Very nice looking setup.

Thanks I honestly can't wait to get it. Only other thing I will need is a 2-channel amp to drive one pair of the Atmos speakers.

I was looking at Paradigm and Velodyne, however someone recommended that I give Definitive Technology's Supercube a listen.

Three letters my friend, take your pick, SVS or HSU. Maybe someday I'll get one.
