Default The Matrix 2 and 3 on Blu-ray??

Does anybody know if theres plans to release Matrix 2 and 3 on Blu ray. I know they are part of the Ultimate Collection, but i just bought the Matrix Digibook and would like to buy 2 and 3, but they aren't out as singles yet. any idea when they will be?

You could always buy the collection and sell the first one.

Well, the 1st one was only $13.... when the whole collection is $75. Does that make enough sense to you...

I doesn't make any sense to someone who truly is a fan and really, honestly wants all three.

Chances are you're going to be waiting a while for 2 and 3.

The Ultimate Matrix Collection doesn't really seem to go on any sales or specials. I wound up buying the the first one separately after its release for cheap. If the collection goes on sale sometime, I'm sure I can find an owner for my Matrix digibook release. If not, then I can wait for singular releases of the sequels, which would put the trilogy in my hands for a lot cheaper than the Collection is currently going for.

I'm sure Warner Brothers realizes that if they do release Reloaded and Revolutions as separate BDs, then the Collection would we substantially more expensive. At that point, the Collection would be mostly a favorite of absolute Matrix purists who want The Animatrix and The Matrix Experience Documentary.

Personally, I can't stand when these movie companies do this with trilogies. This one, Spider-man, and for a time X-Men. Just release the trilogy as singles, then do a doudle dip for the people who want all three in a special keepsake box. Either way, they're gonna make their $$! I want Matrix 2 & 3! I'd also like Spidey 2&3 w/the bonus features found on the dvd. Universal did it right with the Bourne series. No jerkin' around...all three one shot, w/bonus content, keepsake box. Easy, done. Give us the choice, let the people decide for themselves which one they want...you'll still get paid!

If you just want the three movies on the cheap, you should get the Matix collection from the UK. It has only the three movie blu-rays (no Animatrix or DVD supplemental discs), and costs way less (even shipped) than the US Ultimate Matrix box.

You also get a disk with a ton of extras, as well as AniMatrix in full 1080p in the boxset. Besides, maybe it is just me, I paid $75 for it and I thought the price is fair.

If you must get those 3 movies seperately, try the Asian version. They have been out for months!

Yeah it's funny that hardly anyone mentions the Animatrix is also included with that price and think they are only getting the 3 movies for that price.

Agreed. And there is NO POINT in getting the trilogy if you are not getting AniMatrix at all.

Speaking of The Matrix. Does anybody know how long the first one is going to stay $13.99 on Amazon? I can't get it until Friday.
