Default axl2000's small Home Theater

Hello!
That's my "HT" (HT Gallery of course) if we can call it that way. I'm a student with very limited money, so I had to do what I could to make my small 11 square meters room an "HT".
First of all, speakers are situated badly, I know, I am waiting for new furniture.
Second thing it that I am waiting for small subwoofer for an extra bass and surround speakers.
42" was biggest TV that I could afford, amplituner was bought on ebay for about 100$, not bad price for a thing with 6 months warranty. Speakers are old and cheap, but they do their job better than old panasonic speakers.
Well, I can't compare my HT to many of HT's here on site, but at least I'm giving a try.
Sorry for my english, have a good day

Looks good. Get a racetrack to cover the wires.

Congrats on the new purchase. How do you like the sounds of your Magnat's? I can't say I have ever heard of them over here, but I am curious to what you might compare them to? Nice set-up by the way!

I am not an audiophile, so sound of my Magnats in ~11m2 room is quite good (4 me). I think it's because of SONY amplituner. Why? Because those Magnat speakers are low end, and they make too much bass, and SONY make this bass dissapear. With my old JVC amplituner I had to make bass like "-5" to be happy with sound. SONY sounds good with bass on "+6" So for me cheap sony with cheap magnat speakers is OK.
Now subwoofer thing...I can't tell how does it sound because I am waiting for new furniture, now it stands near the door, in the corner of the room and I can hear it good, BUT I need to wait to get it stand where it should be. But for now I am happy because now movies sound like they should. Sub is on 8" speaker. It's more than sufficient for my small room.

I need to change BD player and buy 2 surround speakers and my HT is done

It doesn't matter what other people may think.
All that matters is that it serves your purposes and makes you happy.
I could be very happy with that as a first system.
trust me, I started with a lot less 40 years ago.

You aren't missing much by not being able to come here.
It has changed so much in the last 10 years or so.
The loss of the Trade Center, and Mayor Bloomberg, have taken this city in a negative direction, and everything costs so much more than it should, compared to other cities.

Nice setup Axl!

Not sure what the new furniture will look like but my two suggestions are to 1.) raise the right speaker to approximately the same height as the left and 2.) move the device next to the right speaker to under the center. This will raise the center to about the same height as the left and right speakers.

Are those speakers available in the U.S? If not, what brand/model from another company is comparable?

Speakers will be situated properly, don't worry

SrLoin - hmh, Magnat is from Germany I think, and that is all I can say about availability

I would compare them to KODA speakers.

Oh, there is an update in photos. Today I bought new DVD player. Well...mostly for MP3 because it has USB to play MP3/Divx/JPG, i don't need to use cd-r/dvd-r it has HDMI and Coaxial Digital Audio out and it is pretty

I can only say that one year ago, on sale I bought stereo (2x Magnat Monitor 220) for about 170$, month later center 210 for 80$ and week ago subwoofer 200A for ~200$

They are very cheap I can say...but that works for me

I think this is comparable to Polk 40 - http://www.stereo.de/index.php?id=396

and this is new model of my monitors - http://www.magnat.de/index.php?id=3149&L=1
