The first one was OK. The second was much better, with "Safe Haven" being one of the most batshit insane things I've ever seen. It's worth it just for that.

This one looks pretty decent too. I'll check it out.

In my opinion, a sub-par series so far, but I enjoy the genre and will always watch in case they have more like the CULT or ALIEN sections from part 2.

Really enjoyed the first two. Haven't bought them yet though, they always seem to be so expensive. Was hoping they would both be $9.99 at some point.

I would highly suggest staying clear of this one. Absolute, 100% garbage.

I was a big fan of the first two. I really enjoyed them. But Viral was just so embarrassingly terrible. People were audibly yawning during the screening.

The story that usually weaves between the shorts was non-sensical. There were scenes and shots that didn't fit in at all with the story. It seems they tried to go the comedy-horror route with this installment.

There were only 3 segments, out of which one was decent at best. The other two were just terrible.

Normally I would say "go see it yourself if you're curious", but I would honestly suggest skipping this all together.

I just finished watching it, and your words just about sum it up. I have no idea how they managed to go so far off the pattern that made the fist two enjoyable. But they did it and the end result is garbage.

It's not just that the segments were bad, they were, but the whole story made no sense. Unlike the first two, there was no reason for its existence.

Default I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it garbage, but...

I must say that "VHS Viral" was unquestionably the weakest as well as being the most uninspired entry in the film series thus far. I saw it in the comfort of my own home theater (onDemand for $9.99) and all I can say is that this film was very disappointing.

And yeah ...the wraparound was the oddest and absolute least rewarding of all three.

I hate to say it folks, but save your money for something better.

WOW! How utterly disappointing for Halloween this year ...let down by "ABC's of death 2" and now "VHS Viral"!

Just watched this. Absolute trash. One of the worst movies I've ever seen in my lifetime, and that's no hyperbole. The Parallel Monsters segment was at least tolerable, but as a whole there is nothing worthwhile with this movie. It's pointless, stupid, and barely resembles a movie in all honesty.

And this is coming from a fan of the first two. (still need to buy those)

Ouch. I still want to see it for myself. Maybe I'll enjoy it more than the rest.

I missed it at Frighfest in London, but word on it as good and many thought it was on par with the second film. I'll keep an open mind.

I'd wait for it to come on Netflix like the first two. DO NOT spend money on this.

I'm not a huge fan of the series, but I enjoy parts of each. this one however just flat out sucked. Not one really well done story in my opinion. Boring.

After three movies I still don't know why the title has slashes in it. Do 20-year-olds not know how to pronounce "VHS" or something?
